1/1 – New Year, New Snow

by Noah Michaelsen on January 2, 2012

Ross spent his holiday grooming the 5 inches of new snow.  He rolled and combed all 27 K.  No tracks set.  The wind will have likely have left some debris on the trail.  There is good coverage on the entire trail, but not a considerable base.  Choose your rock skis until we get another 1 to 2 inches.

December 5 – Rolled and Combed – 27 K

by Noah Michaelsen on December 6, 2011

Sunday night and Monday morning brought more fluffy new snow, about 3 additional inches.  So Monday evening, Ross and Jon busted their way around the entire system, rolling and combing as they went.  This should set up as a very nice base, but in the meantime it is suitable for your rock skis.  Some of the more technical trails, such as Tram Lake, may still be rough.  Still no classic tracks, according to Ross we will need another 3 inches to get a track set.
